GTA 6 pre-load date, time and file size

GTA 6 will be available for pre-load on the PlayStation 5 on Tuesday 10th November at midnight local time in your respective time zone.

For Xbox Series X/S players, GTA 6 will be available for pre-loading on Tuesday 10th November at 12am GMT (UK time). In other timezones, this will be:

• UK - 12am (midnight GMT) on Tuesday 10th November
• Europe - 1am (CET) on Tuesday 10th November
• East Coast US - 7pm (EST) on Monday 9th November
• West Coast US - 4pm (PST) on Monday 9th November

If your time zone isn't listed above, then I recommend using this time converter.

You will need 212 GB to pre-load GTA 6 regardless of which console you're using. Personally, I also recommend clearing out some additional storage space so you're prepared for any patch either on or post launch day.

Finally, it's a good idea to have automatic updates turned on for your chosen console. This will ensure GTA 6 is pre-loaded and you won't have to waste a second come launch day.

Hope your pre-loads go well and I'll see you in Leonida! If you fancy refreshing your GTA 6 knowledge, take a look at everything we know so far about the game.
