Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6 Launches September 28 With Pearl, Zenless Zone

HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6, Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise, will launch on September 28, 2026. The update continues the Astropolis storyline, makes Pearl playable, adds new events and Astral Imagea gameplay, and sets up an upcoming crossover with Zenless Zone Zero.

Pearl joins the playable roster as a 5-star Ice character on the Path of Elation. Her combat mechanics revolve around “Certified Banger” and “Deep Learning.” Certified Banger can offset part of the damage received by allies, while Deep Learning lets Pearl study a selected teammate’s combat data to gain an Enhanced ATK.

Selecting another Elation character adds Elation DMG to Pearl’s Enhanced ATK. A full team of Elation characters can also grant the selected teammate an extra turn while providing additional Punchline and Certified Banger.

Pearl and her limited 5-star Light Cone, “Colors for Tomorrow,” will receive boosted drop rates during Version 4.6. Evanescia returns during the first half of the update, followed by a Mortenax Blade rerun in the second half.

Several events are planned. “Love, Ghosts & Robots” has the Trailblazer helping the resurrected Skott operate a mechatron workshop by assembling and selling machines. “Interastral Peace Gala: One Take” is a combat reality show event.

Version 4.6 also introduces Astral Imagea gameplay. Players can obtain multiple Astral Imageas to accompany them and team up with friends for the “Astral Slammers Squad!” co-op challenge. New outfits include Hyacine’s “Warm Cotton Skies” and Evanescia’s “Lunar Blossoming.”

HoYoverse also announced a Honkai: Star Rail collaboration with Razer. The Silver Wolf LV.999-themed collection will include a gaming chair, keyboard, mouse, and headset, with a simultaneous release planned across multiple regions. Further product details will be announced later.

Then, a Zenless Zone Zero update is planned for the future, with characters Ellen and Astra Yao joining Honkai: Star Rail in Version 4.8.

Honkai: Star Rail is available on mobile devices, PC, and PlayStation 5.
